The co-workers alleged that Nkosi was dropped off in the Emalahleni Central Business District (CBD).

It is believed the victim informed his co-workers that he was going to withdraw money, which was the last time Nkosi was seen by his family and co-workers.

Sello’s brutal assault was reportedly witnessed by community members who related the story to the victim’s family.

Sello was unfortunately never seen again by his family following the incident.

The family later reported him as a missing person.

Vosman Police believe that the suspects who allegedly assaulted Sello might have had something to do with his disappearance.

According to the report issued by Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, the investigators are connecting all the dots to get to the bottom of Sello’s disappearance, “Members of the public are therefore urged to help with any information that they might have or assist in whatever way so that Sello is found,” Mohlala said.

In July last year, Nkonyane was last seen driving in a white Toyota Avanza with registration number KKV 427 MP.

According to a member of the family, Hlema was last seen attending a funeral at Gembok.

They claimed that since then she was nowhere to be found.

Vosman Police are pleading with members of the community to assist in tracing the people that were reported missing.

Mohlala asked that anyone with information that may assist in finding the missing persons is requested to contact the Vosman Police Station at 079 891 4822, “Alternatively, members of the public can call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111 or send information via MYSAPSAPP. All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous,” Mohlala concluded.

Vosman Councillor Xolani Nkosi mentioned that the majority of the missing persons are from Vosman and surrounding areas, “Some of the missing people are from Emsagweni and that is not my ward.

When families report open cases, they must specify the areas that they are from, as that will assist in tracking down the missing people,” advised Nkosi.
