Body discovered in Ga-Nala (Kriel)

Kriel Police urged community members to come forth and find the family of the deceased.

Kriel Police are pleading with the Ga-Nala community to assist in reuniting an unknown deceased with his family.

 

The victim is an African male who was burnt beyond recognition.

 

According to the report a big grey dustbin was found next to the deceased.

 

Kriel Police spokesperson Constable Angel Makubu said the police discovered the body on Wednesday, June 14 at about 08:30 in Mooi Street.

 

Constable Makubu described the deceased, “He is estimated at 1,72m tall and it seems as if it was a dark-skinned person.”

 

She further informed that anyone who might know anything can contact Kriel Police.

Makubu urged community members to come forth to help the police, “All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.’’

 

Clr Sipho Maseko from Ward 25 said that the Ga-Nala committee will meet with the Kriel Police Station commander as well as the Community Policing Forum (CPF) to discuss measures that will result in an increase in patrol within the Ga-Nala area.
