Child protection week hosted by Vosman Police

The campaign was held at Sy Mthimunye Stadium on Friday, June 9.

The Vosman Police together with the municipal health services, fire services, and education and training of pre‐schools and stakeholders conducted a Child Protection Week campaign at Sy Mthimunye Stadium in Ackerville.

All together 714 preschool learners from different crèches attended the campaign that focused on the safety of children against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Children’s Rights.

On Friday, June 9 guest speakers provided tips on how the learners can protect themselves against any form of abuse.

Vosman Police Captain Elizabeth Hlathi said the learners were happy and enjoyed the day and different games were played, “The day was indeed a success,” Hlathi said.
