It was all about women breaking barriers at New Life Church

The main focus of the conference was women feeling empowered.

New Life Church’s Soul Sisters Ministry hosted a Women’s Breaking Barriers Conference on Saturday, May 13.

The conference was focused on women’s empowerment to overcome obstacles and achieve goals by equipping them with biblical principles and practical strategies.

Organiser for the event, Jessica Boriwondo said that the day hosted speakers who shared their insights and personal testimonies on overcoming fear and doubt, building resilience, and living a life of purpose.

 

“The ladies enjoyed a day of inspiration, encouragement, and communion as they learned how to break down barriers and embraced the abundant life that God has in store for them,” Jessica said.

 

One of the speakers for the day, Desray Skinner spoke about overcoming self-doubt, saying that we all struggle with self-doubt.

“Women must realise that self-doubt is crippling and that our relationships with ourselves are very important. God wants us to doubt our doubts,” Desray concluded.

The speakers included Desray Skinner, Luzaan Tolmay, and Jessica Betsva, as well as guest speakers Pastor Delores and Pastor Bonnie-Jean Masson.
