“We have been longing for this bakkie for 10 years,” said Jabez House Project Manager, Odette Rossouw.

She said her prayers have finally been answered as she stood in front of the brand-new bakkie that was donated to Jabez House by Basileia Church.

She mentioned that the NPO was chosen among three charities to receive donations from the church.

“I’ve been in God’s waiting room for a new bakkie as the one we have was been bought in 1996. A church member appointed the NPO in good faith because he knew we have been longing for a new bakkie. We have approached several businesses to donate to us with no luck,” Odette said.

Jabez House is a non-denominational, non-profitable organisation that opened its doors in 2001 to serve the widows, orphans, the poor, and the needy for the love of their city eMalahleni.
