Slipstream’s Waterlectric Trail Run kicked off at Bankenveld
This year the race was a 15km and a 4.9km fun run.
The second annual Waterlectric Race took place at the Franschkloof Landgoed in Bankenveld.
This race follows the first one that was held last year November at the Emalahleni Nature Reserve and Recreation Resort in collaboration with the Emalahleni Local Municipality.
This year the race hosted a 15km and a 4.9km fun run with approximately 150 children and adults taking part.

Matthew Ratcliffe from Slipstream Sports Club and race coordinator mentioned the race was an Athletics South Africa-sanctioned race which means referees and timing officials formed a part of the race.
Jumping castles, boerewors rolls and coffee was available for all during the race that took place early Saturday morning, April 29.
