The ‘market’, themed: ‘Don’t Tatazel pop-up market Emalahleni Edition’ was held at the Lunchbox in Lynnville on Saturday, April 29.

“I invited the crafters, designers, musicians, DJs, artists, small businesses, and cookers, to come from their backyards to have a platform where they showcase their talents. This is a Kasi market for the local economy,” explained Kgomotso.

Kgomotso is the owner of several businesses – Stove Samahle Products, Hola Deer, Mzomba, TS Designers, all of which came together to share the platform with other business people and their ideas.

“This idea came from Soweto where we empower each other by doing such markets. We have the people and we support the idea or concept as it has worked well in Soweto,” says Kgomotso.

Kgomotso would like to thank Mr Harry Masinga director of Lunchbox for offering them a venue to do the market.

He hopes the idea will not be a once-off thing and will be done again as the entrance was free and people were welcome to see local small business people and support them.
