Glencore hands over 16 audio hearing aid kits to Witbank Hospital

The aid kits come with a variety of features that enhance sound quality, such as noise reduction.

Glencore embarked on the audio hearing aids programme as a response to the need identified by the Department of Health. 

Witbank Provincial Hospital had a huge backlog they were unable to cover. 

Glencore donated a total of 16 hearing aids and present at the handover recently were Glencore personnel, a representative from Emalahleni Local Municipality transversal unit and hospital staff.  

Glencore donated a total of 16 hearing aids to community members recently.

Several community members who previously lost their hearing have now gained it.

The aid kits come with a variety of features that enhance sound quality, such as noise reduction, making communication easier with family and friends.

Glencore outlined in a statement issued on Monday, April 17 that they are proud to be part of such an initiative that impacts positively on the lives of our communities.
