Witbank K9 Club let the dog out with the ‘jumpingly’ good positions their ‘agile’ and four-legged comrades achieved at the Gauteng Regional Trials this past month.
Dog owners in eMalahleni may know of the great dog’s life at Witbank K9 Club.
The club is a dynamic, active dog training club for all dog breeds and all ages of handlers, from children to the elderly and the disabled.
You and your furry friend can find the club’s exciting training at the equestrian centre in Bankenveld.
Training includes basic puppy training, advice and socialisation to advanced obedience, competitive agility and even canine yoga.
On March 24 to 25, two handlers, Michelle Meyer and Lusinda Underhay, participated in the Gauteng Regional Trials at the South African dog agility association.
Michelle took to the course with her paw-trio of competitors: Air, Sniper and Thai-Shan. Lusinda participated with her energetic and joyous girl, Njevi.
Michelle and Thai-Shan came second with a signature in Dog Agility against 25 other dogs.
Thai-Shan also received a signature in Gamblers Jumping Dogs. Sniper ‘sniped’ when he took his doggy bag as fourth in the tots jumping class.
Lusinda and Njevi did exceptionally well in their first regional show.
Njevi took part against 30 other dogs in her class.
Altogether, 255 dogs from across the country participated in the two-day show, but it was the ‘paw-fect’ day for Witbank K9 Club to stand out among the doggy masses.
