House robberies back in fashion in the City of Coal

The female victim alleged that the suspects threatened her with a firearm.

Innocent civilians in eMalahleni are constantly battling the ongoing trend of house robberies.

Another house robbery way reported in Likazi, in Old Coronation where it is alleged that a woman was robbed at gunpoint.

According to police reports, a female victim was allegedly in her bedroom busy on her phone when she heard a knock on the front door at around 21:30 on Thursday, March 2.

It is believed when she asked who was at the door the suspect informed her he was looking for the owner of the house.

The victim allegedly opened the door and to her surprise there were two unknown male suspects who allegedly forced their way into the victim’s home.

It is believed that one of the suspects had a firearm in his possession, which he allegedly pointed at the female victim.

According to police reports the suspects allegedly searched the house and stole a TV as well as an amplifier.
