EFF presents school shoes at Mogalitwa Primary School

Primary school received a donation of much needed school shoes.

Members of the Economic Freedom Front (EEF), led by Nkangala Regional chairperson Mr Mpho Morokolo presented school shoes at Mogalitwa Primary School.

The presentation was held on Thursday, February 9 at the school in Klarinet

Morokolo said they were doing this as a caring organisation and public representatives.

“The learners were identified by the school, and we donated 33 pairs of school shoes so that the learners can have proper school uniforms. Our mandate is to go around the schools in the whole of Nkangala to make sure that the underprivileged schools are identified, hence the donation,” said Morokolo.

He added to say that as community leaders and public representatives, they are making practical examples.

He calls upon people with financial muscle and the business sector to help by donating to schools.

Ms Eunice Vilakazi, school deputy principal, said they were proud and honoured to receive the donation from a political party and that shows that the community really cares about the education of a black child.

She said there was a great need as the school serves an underprivileged community, as most parents are unemployed and the school is graded as a non-fees school by the department.

The school only rely on the department and donations, she explained.

“The donation will make a great difference and an impact in their lives,” added Vilakazi.
