Farmers and residents should take note of the upcoming Fire Protection Association meeting

The FPA wants to establish a better relationship between farmers and the association.

The Witbank Fire Protection Association will be holding another important meeting.

The meeting will take place at the eMalahleni Fire Station on Beatty Avenue on February 22.

Residents and farmers interested in attending should take note that the meeting will start at 10:00.

The meeting has very important talking points regarding fire safety on farms and rural areas, creating a network for farmers and residents alike in combating runaway fires and fire safety.

“We want to be able to give better service delivery and ensure that everyone can work better together in the future,” said Salome Botha, from the Fire Protection Association.

Fire season will start on March 1 and will end on May 31. No fire breaks will be allowed to be made after May 31.

For any more information or queries, you can contact Salome Botha at 074 3033 458.
