Ward 20 can register or renew their indigent applications on Friday

Residents who qualify to fall under the ‘indigent’ category can apply or renew on Friday, January 27.

Residents are urged to register as ‘indigents’ if they qualify to receive basic services.

“The registration program aims at providing basic services to indigent households and the municipality would like to conclude this process to ensure that indigent households have access to basic services,” said Clr Maureen Scheepers, ward councillor for Ward 20.

Documents required for registration/renewal purposes are:

  • Certified ID copy
  • Municipal account or proof of residence
  • Certified SASSA card copy
  • Payslip or three months bank statement and affidavit.

All the above documents must be certified and have to be submitted with the completed application form.

Registration or renewals will take place on January 27 from 09:00 at the NG Church Panorama on the corner of Adela and Raadsaal Street.

For more information contact Scheepers at 082 565 6770.
