Attempted murder leaves man in hospital

A man was shot in the shoulder in Siyanqoba.

A man was almost killed after being attacked by unknown suspects who also robbed him of his belongings.

The incident occurred on Thursday, December 15, in the Siyanqoba plot, and the suspects remain at large.

According to reports, the complainant was driving around the plots when he came across three vehicles.

Since the road was too narrow, he had to move his vehicle to the side, and then he was suddenly attacked by several suspects, all of whom possessed a firearm. They searched him and demanded his wallet.

The victim is alleged to have been shot in the left shoulder prompting him to be rushed to the nearest hospital. His car was also damaged.

The suspects fled with a handgun and an undisclosed sum of money.
