Two unknown men allegedly victims of mob justice in Lynnville

Witnesses said that they woke up to find the two men lying in the street.

The body of a man was found in Tshaka Street, Lynville this morning, and another man was lying close to him, still alive but seriously injured.

Witnesses said that they woke up to find the two men lying in the street, badly beaten, and called the police and emergency services.

One of the men was declared dead on the scene by paramedics while the other man died shortly afterward in the ambulance.

Witnesses further made claims that the men were allegedly involved in housebreaking and cable theft leading to what might have been an act of mob justice.

An electric cable was found wrapped around the man who later succumbed to his injuries.

The victims are unknown and have not been identified yet.
