Emalahleni Local Municipality host Festive Flea Market and Fun Run
All runners and walkers received medals and awards for their participation. Clr Nkalitshana also participated in the fun run.
The local municipality hosted a fun run this morning where community members came out in numbers to support and participate.
Emalahleni Local Municipality Executive Mayor Clr Conny Nkalitshana said the reason for the fun run was to encourage residents to stay healthy and active.
The fun commenced at 08:00 with a distance of 10km.
Luke Coveney (20) was the first to complete the run.
All runners and walkers received medals and awards for their participation.
Clr Nkalitshana also participated in the fun run.
She embraced all fun run participants, applauded and awarded them with medals.
The municipality is inviting members of the community to come in numbers to support the flea market that is still underway.
Various items, from foods, clothing and accessories are available at affordable prices.
The flea market is at Emalahleni Recreation resort and Nature Reserve, Witbank Dam.
