Business robberies are increasing in Vosman, as a security guard reported being robbed while on duty by three suspects.

The official who was on night duty alleges that at about 00:30, he was with his colleague as a security guard at his place of occupation.

When he went outside to check, he was approached by an unknown male who pointed him with a firearm.

Two other suspects also joined. It is alleged that the one suspect began searching for his colleague, but in the meanwhile helped himself to the following items: Torch, a microwave oven, and two cellphones.

On Sunday, November 13 items to an undisclosed amount of money were stolen by the suspects before they fled the scene.

In another incident that took place on the same night, a male victim alleged that he closed the shop, situated in Ackerville and locked it.

At about 23:10 he received a call from his brother who informed him that there were people breaking into the shop.

According to the witness, six males gained entry and found the victim’s brother in the back room. It is believed the victim was then taken to the shop and the suspects took cash, cigarettes, and airtime while pointing with a firearm.

In the last incident, it is reported that the victim was asleep together with his brother in a room at Lynnville on November 12 when they heard a noise and suddenly the door was forcefully opened.

It was around 23:30 when five unknown males and two with firearms entered and pointed them with it.

The brother was hit with the firearm and the suspects demanded cash which he gave to them.
