Pink Walk held in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Play your part and support victims of breast cancer.

“Awareness is like the sun, when it shines on things, they are transformed.”

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Bettie Bandana Cancer Foundation with other stakeholders will be hosting a Pink Walk in aid of cancer.

The event will be held at Ben Fleur Boulevard on Saturday, October 22.

The walk will be 4.9km and free private breast exams by registered nurses will be given at the centre.

Entry fees are R50 per child and adults R150.

This includes a pink cape that you can use during your walk to wrap around a tree for the Pink Project.

Registration starts at 6:30 and the walk will begin at 08:00.

The free private breast exams will be available from 07:00 to 12:00.
