Security guards robbed on duty

Business robberies are on the rise, Vosman Police warn.

Vosman Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating and apprehending a group of unknown suspects in connection with two alleged business robberies.

When it comes to armed robberies, not even security guards are safe.

A security guard reported to police that he and his colleagues were on duty when they were robbed by a group of suspects.

The incident is believed to have occurred on Sunday, September 18 at around 23:50 when a group of suspects forced them to lie down on the floor.

They stole two computers, three cellphones, a printer machine, and a pump, and also vandalised other items in the lab.

Another business robbery occurred when the complainant was on duty on Monday, September 19.

Around the time, he allegedly heard the sound of a firearm being cocked and a group of men approached him and pointed a firearm at him.

They forced him into the office, stole two cellphones and a torch, and then drove away.

The suspects are unknown, and no arrests have been made.
