School-wide awareness campaign against drugs and dangerous weapons continues

The campaign’s goal is to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Phola stakeholders, in collaboration with Phola SAPS, are dedicated to making a difference in schools.

On Monday, September 12, they continued their awareness campaign by visiting Mabande Comprehensive High School and discussing oppressive issues at school.

During Mabande’s assembly, they conducted a drug, bullying, dangerous weapons, and discipline awareness campaign for students.

Sergeant Petros Ntuli (Phola SAPS communication officer) and Sergeant Nonhlanhla Monama (Crime Information Management and Analysis Centre) presented the campaign, along with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) led by Mr Jabulani Shabangu (deputy chairperson).

Chief Sipho Mahlangu represented Ndzundza Sogutjhe Traditional House and, Phola SAPS Youth Desk structure was represented by Miss Charmaine Mzimba and Miss Tshepiso Ramphamodi represented Fovoc.

The campaign was successful; both learners and teachers thanked all the stakeholders for the visit.
