Patriot’s Spring Festival blooms with fun
Absentees missed out on all the ‘flowery’ fun and festivities.
Hoërskool Patriot’s Spring Festival filled the weekend with something for everyone, including music notes, laughter, ice-cream and delicious snacks.
Patriot properly welcomed the flowery season with its Spring Festival on September 3. The day’s weather could not be more perfect for a Spring Festival ‒ sunny, warm and with a 100% forecast of ice cream.
Ashton Wheeler, singing sensation and former head boy of Patriot, who signed on with Universal Music Group SA, took to the stage and entertained everyone on the field.
Christopher Snow performed alongside him and smiled throughout the performance, capturing the happy feeling that spring brings each year.
The festivities did not stop there because the festival also had a warrior race, a fun run and a baby competition, to mention a few activities.
On top of that, some stall owners celebrated the first week of spring with bubble guns and filled the air with bubbles of happiness as children played to pop them.
That was not all for the younger attendees, as there were also magic shows, a Velcro wall and carnival games for their entertainment.
Hoërskool Patriot blossomed this weekend with on-stage talent and fun activities.
Those who did not attend missed out on a festive spring welcome!
