The weekend did not get off to a good start for Safari Supermarket. This supermarket, well known for the best slap chips in eMalahleni, was robbed on Thursday evening, August 11 at 19:30.
According to the owner, Mr Dino Belloun eight armed men charged into the supermarket and demanded cash.
“They also took cigarettes,” Belloun said.
No one was injured during the robbery.
“The safety of our patrons is our priority,” Belloun said.
