Robbers hit too close to home in Ben Fleur

Robbers made themselves at home when a couple was allegedly tied up and robbed in their home in Ben Fleur.

June did not end well for a man and woman who allegedly became victims of a robbery in Ben Fleur.

The incident is alleged to have occurred in the morning hours of June 30.

The man said he heard the woman screaming outside the home and went to check on her.

House robberies are becoming a daily occurrence in eMalahleni

The man allegedly saw four men standing by the pool, and one of them had a firearm. It is believed that the men instructed the victims to move into the house, tied them u,p and demanded money.

The male victim allegedly said that he did not have money, and the robbers demanded the keys to the safe in the house.

Thieves strip residents of valuable property in Ben Fleur

It is believed that the robbers took a firearm from the safe with a packet of bullets, two televisions, a sound system and a bank card.

The robbers allegedly made their way to the garage and took the motor vehicle inside.
