Laerskool Duvhapark rugby players made a statement to remember

Rugby players from Laerskool Duvhapark prove that their sportsmanship is their character.

Showing passion at a young age paves a way for ultimate success.

The rugby players of Laerskool Duvhapark have shown excellence since their first appearance this year.

The learners of the school were reintroduced to the sport after it was stopped for eight years.

With no fear displayed on their faces, the players made sure that they practised preparing for every game.

Coach Ryno Chiloane who is the coach of the school’s first rugby team said that his players showed commitment from the first day he saw them.

“My boys have done well in all their games. They do still need practice but they have made me proud,” added coach Chiloane.

The boys played a game against Robert Carruthers School, and they had a meeting where the coach expressed his gratitude to all the players. Players who have improved were given medals.

The players include: Mahlasedi Moropiyane, Paledi Lekala, Musa Galelimali, Wandile Sibiya, Amange Twala, Rooi Mashego, Ntuthuko Rooy, Lwandile Twala, Sinethemba Maseko, Obama Mnisi, Thabang Mashilo, Jayden Francis, Sibongamandla Shongwe, Smangaliso Zwane, Ndumiso Mofokeng, Terry Sebanyane, Thabang Mtsweni, Kamuhelo Ndlovu, Lethokuhle Lunda, Tekele Lerr, Ettiene Conlen, and Musa Nhlapho.
