The Witbank Yacht and Aquatic Club (WYAC) held its annual general meeting at the clubhouse.

The previous annual general meeting’s minutes were considered, followed by a discussion on the proposal for allocated paid parking.
The meeting went on to discuss the club’s financial report, followed by the Commodore’s report.
Rory thanked everyone for playing their roles in the club, especially during the difficult times of Covid-19.
Travis Clack from the National Sea Rescue Institute was also thanked for his and his team’s great response and support.
The new committee was then elected.
Steve Matthews was elected as Commodore, Bryan Price as Vice-Commodore, and Rory Hay as rear-Commodore.
Craig Hay was elected as the Sailing-secretary, Jacky Garoufalias as treasurer, Alex Garoufalias as Boson, Corlette van Heerden as secretary, and Devon Matthews as public relations officer.
