Run, walk and run again – get to the finish line

Some walked, some ran, everyone made sure they got to the finish line to help Marnu.

Giving hope to the next person while also getting fit is the best way to stay in shape. Residents came together to fundraise and show solidarity for one of their own in the community.

Community members gathered at Elkana Educational Centre on Saturday morning, June 11 to participate in a fun run for Marnu Muller.

The fundraising event was aimed at helping Marnu pay her medical bills after a tragic event that happened at her school.

The organiser, Miss Mariska Stevensdale said that she understood that it is not easy to have a loved one in ICU and the medical fees don’t come cheap.

The 5km race was catered for all ages and groups. You could run, walk or even take rests; as long as you got to the finish line just like everyone else.
