At least thirteen vehicles were involved in front and rear collisions on the N4 toll road between Bronkhorstpruit and eMalahleni near Wakefield this morning.
The collisions were caused by dense fog on that part of the road. Two serious and six slight injuries have been reported so far.

On the other hand, motorists are urged to be also cautious of misty conditions on the N17 toll road between Davel and Bethal.
Traffic law enforcement officers and emergency personnel remain on high alert.
“Motorists are urged to remain highly cautious due to reduced visibility. They should reduce speed, increase following distance and keep their headlights on.
