Water outages in many areas in eMalahleni ahead
Model Park and surrounding areas will have no water today, due to pipe repairs.
The Emalahleni Local Municipality announced that there would be water outages in parts of eMalahleni today.
The water supply to Model Park has been affected due to multiple water pipe breaks and repairs are being done.
The water supply to the following areas is affected due to a pipe break and the system has been isolated for repair works to be carried out:
– Model Park
– Highveld Park
– Die Heuwel extensions
– Jackaroo Park
The water supply to Blancheville will also be affected due to a pipe break, and repairs were carried out yesterday.
The isolation valve has broken in a closed position, and the municipal team has reported that the valve will be replaced after repairs have been completed in Model Park.
