Even in the last match, the Robert Carruthers School’s first rugby team made it a game to remember.
The young sports players played a friendly match against Laerskool Duvhapark on Friday, June 10.
Both teams brought their A-game to the field, making sure that they represent their schools well.

RCS had played well in their leagues during the first two school terms of the year; some players were even selected to attend a rugby workshop in White River earlier in the year.
The team did not win all of their games, yet they managed to come out on top with their teamwork and dedication.

The RCS coach, Mr Beau Range said that he was proud of his team as they played well throughout the year.
“This was my first year as a rugby coach for the first team, yet the boys made my job easier. Most of them are going off to high school next year, and I just hope that they continue with the great work that they had already been doing in both rugby and their academics,” Mr Range added.
RCS won the game by 34-0 on the day.
