A cash bar, food, and market stalls will be available on the day. There will also be hard bottom and F1 boats to entertain the spectators during lunchtime.

Anyone interested in letting their children compete is welcome to talk to JPRA’s secretary and organiser of the event, Zelda Sampson, on the day of the final.

Companies that are interested in providing sponsorships can contact her on 082 400 1884.

The prize-giving ceremony for the season will be held on June 26 to crown the South African Champion in each class.

“The winner is not the one with the fastest boat, but the one who refuses to lose,” said Zelda.
