Man of Siyanqoba assaulted after allegedly stealing eggs and a gas bottle
An assault allegedly occurred in Siyanqoba when a man was assaulted by his neighbour after being accused of stealing eggs and a gas bottle from his neighbour.
A man was allegedly assaulted in Siyanqoba.
It is alleged that the victim’s neighbour grabbed him by his clothes on June 5 at about 12:00 and accused him of stealing his neighbour’s eggs and a gas bottle.
It is believed that the neighbour then assaulted him with his fists and a steel pipe. The victim allegedly sustained injuries and was admitted to hospital.
Community members must remain aware that they too can become victims of assault and that anyone can be a perpetrator thereof, even a neighbour.
