Power outages in numerous areas
The network should be treated as live during this period.
The power supply to these areas supplied from Grobler Substation is affected due to emergency repair works being carried out by Eskom on their bulk network.
Please note that the following areas with power outages is:
CBD
Witbank extensions
Klarinet extensions
Pine Ridge
Schoongezicht
Tasbet Park extensions
Duvha Park extensions
It should be noted that some areas normally supplied from Grobler Substation are being temporarily supplied from alternative substations to reduce the amount of affected customers.
Eskom has anticipated to restore the power supply at approximately 15:00.
