Man dies when community takes law into their own hands in Hlalanikahle Extension 3
Mob justice is increasing at an alarming rate.
A man died a horrible death when he was assaulted by the community of Hlalanikahle Extension 3 in Vosman.
It is believed that the community accused the man of a series of house break-ins in the area.
“They took matters into their own hands and assaulted the man brutally on May 20,” said Vosman police spokesperson Captain Elizabeth Mkaudi.
The man’s neighbour alerted the police about the mob justice the following day. When the police arrived at the scene the man was already dead.
