The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has applauded members for their resilience in fighting crime, specifically in tackling the proliferation of firearms.
On Friday, April 29 a woman (32) was arrested on charges of being in possession of a firearm with ammunition in Phola.
The woman was not in possession of a licence for the firearm.
She is expected to appear in Ogies Magistrates Court on Tuesday, May 3 facing a charge of possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
