Ackerville United won the derby 3-0

London Young Stars u.17s lost their week seven game to Ackerville United on Saturday, April 23 at after losing two games so far in the Kasi Football League.

Ackerville United won the match 3-0; thanks to goals from Skhumbuzo Nkosi, Kgomotso Ntuli, and Phumulani Phence. However, in order for them to win, they had to put in a lot of effort.

This was a very difficult derby that demands a lot from both teams, even the Young Stars, who were dominating the game in the first half, but they were unlucky not to score.

Ackerville United were attempting to adjust the game on the underside, but they created an opportunity to score a goal before half time.

Ackerville United came back magnificently in the second half, adding two goals to their previous score before half time, winning the match and taking three points.

Ackerville has fared well in the league, having played four games, winning three and losing one, securing third place in the league. The next match will be against Black Bees Academy on Saturday, April 30.

The Young Stars dropped three points, putting them at the bottom of the table with three points in the league.

They will face Black Bees Academy on Saturday, May 7 at Phakama Grounds.
