Trevor Mosehathebe donates to Carrisa Primary

A kind and generous donation made the children’s day

Carrisa Primary School was honoured by former Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town Spurs player Trevor Mosehathebe who donated over 500 water bottles, soccer balls and two branded Mosehathebe foundation soccer kits. The handing over ceremony took place at the school in eMalahleni on April 6.

Pastor Ray Mabena, pastor Jabari, former Bayanya Banyana star Pollina Ntuli and the school staff were attending.

The learners accepted the donations and thanked the sports agent for his contribution toward assisting the sporting school.

The sports agent of Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tebogo Mokoena said: “The initial idea was giving back to the community which I grew up in before turning professional at the age of 18-years, after being discovered by Masandawana.”

The donations will help in terms of improving participation at the school.

“Considering that not every child will be successful in the classroom, but could be more than capable in the field of play,” said the sports coordinator at the school, Denise Mbele.

Makhosazana Mkhatshwa welcomed the donation and believes it will help tremendously in the new sports year. “Moreover, as the school’s sports department is improving with already the introduction of table tennis as a new sporting code,” she concluded.
