Kasi Expo and career guidance in KwaGuqa aims to bring change

Happiness begins with good health. So get out the starting blocks and start living healthy.

The recently held Kasi Expo and career guidance was organised to bring change to the local community.

The four organisers of the event were: Sipho Sibiya, Nhlanganiso Mathonsi, Mpumelelo Mtshweni and Gladness Madonsela.

The Kasi Expo and career guidance event was held on Saturday, April 2 at KwaGuqa Extension 5 open ground near the Siphosensimbi Clinic.

“We aim to bring change to our community as well, to bring knowledge and our youth to materialise their dreams and have a bright future. We are aiming to end poverty within our communities so that they have sustainable projects and help to fight gender-based violence and drug abuse,” said Sibiya.

He added to say that they want to keep the youth off the streets and give them a better purpose in life.

They also invited elderly people to join them for a few exercises so that they can stay healthy and fit enabling them to fight sickness.

Organisers of the Kasi Expo and career guidance to bring change are from left: Nhlanganiso Mathonsi, Mpumelelo Mtshweni, Gladness Madonsela and Sipho Sibiya.

Sipho Nkosi from Herbalife shared his story of how he changed his life after some challenges.

He asked people to always be willing to learn new things in life.

He told the people how he lost 5kg in the first month after he joined Herbalife and 10 kg in two months.

“This expo is set to help people young and old to stay healthy, fit and to have a positive mind. We are also here to help people change their lives, it is important to make a decision that will change your life so that we have a healthy nation,” noted Nkosi.

Other people also shared their stories of how they have changed their lives.

Career guidance was later given to help the young in their chosen careers.
