Trainee cashier held at gunpoint whilst on duty in Walter Sisulu Street

Two men dressed in red and white clothing took an undisclosed amount of money from a till.

A petrol station in Walter Sisulu Street was robbed again last night.

A trainee cashier working at the petrol station was confronted with a man armed with a firearm and another with a hammer.

On Tuesday, March 15 at approximately 19:50 two unknown men walked into the shop, dressed in red and white clothing.

The men pointed a firearm at the cashier and demanded cash.

The suspects took what money was in the till and pushed the frightened cashier into a shelf and ran away.
