The Emalahleni beauty pageant invites everyone to join them in their campaign to “restore the dignity of a girl child” by donating sanitary towels from March to June.

The sanitary towels will be distributed during the first week of May, to create awareness for Menstrual Hygiene Day, which take place on May 28.

The plan is to donate sanitary towels and educate students about hygiene at three schools in Phola.

The distribution will take place on Tuesday, May 3 to commemorate the birthday of the Face of Emalahleni founder, Ms Sibongile Mabona and a total of 500 packs will be given to each school.

“Our target is 3 900 sanitary towels since I’ll be turning 39-years old. If we reach the target, we will give to all the schools in Phola,” said Sibongile.

If you would like to donate sanitary towels, you are welcome to call Sibongile at 079 882 1903.
