Anti-bullying intervention to take place in Vosman today

The third instalment of the Anti-Bullying roadshow is taking place.

The Government and stakeholders take the third leg of nationwide anti-bullying intervention to Mpumalanga.

 

The Department of Basic Education in partnership with the Departments of Social Development, Communication and Digital Technologies, Home Affairs, Justice and Constitutional Development as well as the South African Police will host the third instalment of the Anti-Bullying roadshow.

 

It will be taking place on March 11 at Empucukweni Secondary School in Vosman.

 

At its heart, this multi-sectored, inter-departmental intervention aims to raise awareness on the continuing and equally distressing impact of bullying and violence that continue to plague the nation and all its communities at large.

 

Having launched the intervention with the initial roadshow on May 28, 2021, the roadshow will head to the land of the rising sun, the Mpumalanga Province.

 

The compact continues to showcase the appreciation that indeed; “Education is a societal issue,” and that government together with partners will continue their collective efforts to ensure that bullying and violence have no place in the schools.
