Golfers aim for the sky to help fight animal cancer

Golf clubs travelled from as far as Nelspruit to support the day which was dedicated to the Southern Africa Animal Cancer Association (SAACA).

Mrs Mpumalanga finalists and titleholders hosted the first Mrs Mpumalanga Golf Day that will last for decades to come.

The event was hosted at the Bankenveld Golf Club on Friday, February 11.

Golf clubs travelled from as far as Nelspruit to support the day which was dedicated to the Southern Africa Animal Cancer Association (SAACA).

SAACA aims to fill the gap for the animals with cancer in Southern Africa.

All the title holders and finalists put their heels aside to show solidarity towards the organisation with the help of other golf clubs and sponsors.

Mrs Provincial Mpumalanga Charity for 2021, Marinda Pieterse said that the event was a success and this was the first of many.

“With the help of our sponsors, we will continue with the golf day events on other golf courses,” added Pieterse.
