Revisit the mirror national book review tour first stop eMalahleni

Just like many counted and uncounted women, she was sexually assaulted.

Mamsi Mashinini Ndlalani (Author of ‘Revisit The Mirror’, CEO of Mamosa Educational Institute, Founder and Director of Wemandla NPO, Change Agent) embarks on an exciting journey across South Africa inviting book lovers to explore her new book, ‘Revisit the Mirror‘.

The 55-year-old is a GBV survivor and she aims to inspire many South Africans, especially women, as she lives to tell the tale through her national book review tour.

Given the scourge of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the country, survivor Ndlalani refuses to be silenced and hopes her book detailing the horrific ordeal and journey to healing, will help others. Just like many counted and uncounted women, she was sexually assaulted when she was seven years old and was physically abused by the father of her child for years. Her dreadful childhood experience began when her mother remarried and an older male; her stepfather would frequently visit her bedroom at night.

“This went on for almost six months until one night my mom caught him.”

These are real-life occurrences that took place in her life and she aims to share them during the book’s review tour.

She is inviting you to join her as she takes this journey to help others heal through her book.

The book review will take place on Saturday, March 12 at Visit Vakasha Guest Lodge, Die Heuwel at 10:00 and the entrance fee is R370 (entrance, book and a welcome drink). Special performance by saxophonist Justice King.
