Witbank SAPS empower car guards at Saveways Shopping Centre

Sibeko encouraged the public to use the services of all car guards at the centre

The car guards of Saveways Shopping Centre received their official identification jackets from the centre management and Captain Christina Sibeko, the sector commander of Sector 5.

On January 31, Sibeko handed over the jackets to every registered car guard and assured the public that every car guard’s police clearance was checked by the SAPS and they are all cleared to assist the police in the fight against crime at the centre.

Sibeko encouraged the public to use the services of all car guards at the centre.

“The guards will be wearing identifiable red jackets with each car guard’s name branded on the front with ‘Saveways car guard’ at the back of their jackets,” she added.

The community of eMalahleni is requested to support these guards as all of them are working on a full-time basis.

“We as a community must remember car guards depend on a small donation from every car they look after to at the end of the day support themselves and their families,” Sibeko concluded.
