Local runners are gearing up for the McCarthy/Panorama night race.
The race is taking place on February 16. It starts at 19:00.
The theme is Valentines’s Day and love is in the air.
There are exciting prizes up for grabs.
The best-dressed couple will walk away with R250. The best-dressed guy, lady, and child will also each win R250.
Entry fees are: 4.9km R40, 10km R80 and temporary licenses are R40.
Registration opens at 17:00 at the school’s sports grounds.
“All runners enter at their own risk,” said Johan Smit one of the organisers.
Medals will be issued to all runners.
“The first Volkswagen owner that finishes the 10km race will receive R200.”
