The federation echoes the articulation by the country’s president that Gender-Based Violence should be treated as the next pandemic

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) in Mpumalanga embarked on a protest drive to hand over a memorandum at Witbank Police Station.

The drive was held on Friday, December 10.

Cosatu says the protest drive was held during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide to raise their concern about the issues of gender-based violence.
