She was one of the artists entertaining during the launch of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign held in Klarinet on Friday, November 26.
Her soulful, powerful voice and humble yet lively personality quickly made her a household name.
The fire in her voice, the message in her songs, the power and soul in her music, is what makes this remarkable woman a blessing to gospel music listeners.
She left her hometown Willowvale in Umtata, Eastern Cape and came to the city of dreams and gold, Johannesburg.
Her presence was felt when she released her debut album in 1997.
With many albums and lots of followers, she never ceases to amaze the masses. Kholeka is a vibrant, strong and God-fearing woman.

Kholeka grew up surrounded by music and became a member of the school choir and represented her local community choir.
