Vosman murder cases postponed

Families who lost their loved ones will patiently wait for the next court appearance.

Five suspects were expected to appear before the Witbank Magistrate’s Court, yet unfortunately could not. This was due to a positive case of Covid-19 reported at the court on Wednesday, November 17.

The suspects who are aged 23, 24, 33, 25 years old, and a 17-year-old minor were expected to appear before the magistrate’s court after they were arrested for being implicated in the brutal murders of three men.

The case was reported at the Vosman Police Station, yet the suspects were arrested a few days after the case have been opened.

Freddy Mokoena, who lost his nephew, Bafana Mokoena on October 23, said that even though the suspects could not appear on the day, he is still hopeful that justice will be served.

The five men are expected to appear again on Wednesday, December 1.
