Patriot High School hosted its Grade 12 merit awards recently.
Devine Hlabangwane received awards for the following academic achievements: Math literacy best performance and subject distinction and tourism subject distinction.
Devine placed fifth under the top 10 learners.
Charlize Habig received academic accolades for best achievement in English first additional language and Afrikaans home language.
She also secured distinctions in English first additional language and life orientation.
“We would like to congratulate all our learners for giving it your best. Thank you to all our teachers who really walked the extra mile during the pandemic to make sure our learners knew what was expected of them,” is the message from the school’s deputy headmaster, Mr Frans Mostert.
