Store robbers leave customers stunned

Two stores robbed in one day at Saveways Crescent.

Customers were left afraid for their lives after a robbery at Saveways Crescent.

The incident happened on November 16, and it is alleged that eight suspects walked into Pep Home and Ackermans, which are next to each other.

The eight men separated, four went into Ackermans and the other four into Pep Home.

Both stores were robbed of an undisclosed amount of money and cellphones.

Customers that were shopping in the stores also alleged that their phones were also taken from them.

One of the customers who was at the counter when the robbers barged in said that the men looked dangerous and ordered her not to move.

The men then demanded the cashier for money and cellphones.

After receiving what they demanded, they ordered the staff to go to the back, and the customers to another section of the store, then fled the scene in two cars.

A case has been opened by the police and investigation is underway.
