UPDATE ABOUT WATER OUTAGE ON SUNDAY

Update on Water Outages at Point C Reservoir

Pumping from Point B to Point C is still in progress.

Point C was empty due to the leak and is currently still low at 10%. It is anticipated that the levels will increase during the course of the night.

Consumers are advised NOT to fill their jojo tanks once the water supply has been restored in order to allow the system to stabilise.

Additional water tankers have been dispatched to areas affected by the outage from Point C reservoir:

9.20 000L – Casino at the Ridge

10.20 000L – Asbestos Street, Minerva Street, Gemini street and surrounding area

11.20 000L – Klipfontein Primary School area

12.20 000L – Del Judor, Cnr Steenkamp and Steve Bantu Biko

13.Birkholtz Street and surrounding area in Del Judor
